Oh come on. You gave a 1 year outlook the beginning of this year if I recall.

I won't hold you to it bound in chains.

Higher or Lower within allotted timeframe based on this existential moment based on all the imperfect information you have.

That's why companies with debt loads are being hammered into the ground. Nobody wants to predict beyond 18 hours. But just buy dips of companies with low debt, profits and strong niche positions and you won't get hurt in the long run. AAPL and PALM are two perfect examples. They each rule their own niche. And those niches are not going away. However it also pays to look outside of tech stocks. What are people buying now? What brands? That's why I bought Skechers near the bottom. Even in a recession some brands do fair-excellent.

Best buys of the year though were in defence and security stocks prior to 9/11. Probably too rich now though. Ditto gold stocks.
