Back in the 80s the Palestinians were driven by nationalism. Hanan Ashrawi was a terrific spokesman for their cause. But she is a Christian woman, they don't have much truck with Christians there anymore. It's all Muslim ideology now. The Palestinian people were better served when they had a Christian voice....
