It was reported recently that Texas Instruments wanted to buy into the PALM OS, wanted a piece of it, for cash. Instead they did this 200 mill loan deal. I don't know the details but TI is involved in it.

Does NOK has an OS for their cell phone-email units?
I'll have to check when I fly to Europe next week. I'll go to the big NOK store and ask. I know my Dutch partner's medium sized company just bought new PALM 705's and a server for everyone to stay in touch. That in a country where the majority of cell phones are made by NOK. PALM recently announced 47% of the Euro market, gaining market share there.
