"The Americans are nice people, they provide us food and care about our health,"

Inmates from Camp X-Ray in Cuba in letters to families praise the Americans behaviour.

Breaking news from Pakistan.. The news..Two activists of Maulana Sufi Muhammad's defunct Tanzeem Nafaz Sharia-e-Muhammadi from Malakand division, who have been shifted to Cuba for interrogation as al-Qaeda and Taliban fighters, have written to families from there.

Muhammad Shah, 20 and Muhammad Tariq 32, from Aladand Derai, Malakand Agency, were arrested in northern Afghanistan after the defeat of Taliban and were in Shibarghan prison when shifted to Cuba.

The two youngsters have sent letters from Camp X-Ray in Cuba to families praising the Americans behaviour and complaining about the attitude of Gen Rashid Dostum's men with them during their captivity in Afghanistan. "The Americans are nice people, they provide us food and care about our health," Muhammad Shah wrote in the letter sent to his family.

"Investigations are going and we expect that we will be freed very soon," wrote Muhammad Tariq to his brother and explained that American soldiers on duty at the interrogation centre imposed no restrictions on them about their religious practices.

All the inmates of the camp were fasting on 9th Zilhajj, a day prior to Eidul Azha, he wrote, adding the security guards were fully cooperative. He said if allowed by the security guards, he would write in detail about the life at Camp X-Ray. He asked relatives to pray for their release.

P.S. Dear Abdul Samedi you should be proud if you are an American or even US resident or green card holder, this is quite a statement, freedom of religion and freedom of writing letters and good food, good shelter and nicety all around, if Iwas an American I would be very satisfied. Are you not that these people are treated so nicely by those whose nationals innocents have been mercilessly killed by their leaders. Amen for USA, I hope you join me in my sentiments..
