Tell me when I should be surprised. Just what I expected. The Church, and churches, are a scam, a con game, and believers are their intended victims. Any time anyone wants your money but can't prove the goods even exist or ever will, you should run for the door. Speaking of scams, I received a subpoena yesterday- -uh, as a witness, not perpetrator. I was one of the intended scammees. Fortunately, before I signed anything, I noticed that, while I had been told something verbally, it was nowhere in writing. Since it was a very important point, I headed for the door. Seems that the plaintiff wants me to tell the court what happened. Trial should be in about a month.
