Why is Bush also known as Dubya to Americans?

Clearly you are fog bound as is your hero (great?). But you credit presidents with too much influence. If Bush is at odds with AG and O'Neil what is the market to think? I seem to remember Clinton saying that market forces should hold sway with the US dollar - they all say this sort of thing from time to time. Bush is merely spouting conservative mantra like a latter day Reagan. I don't hate Bush - I'm amazed that a great country should have elected him - or did it?
