Steve Lee << I would like to know how much of the COMP as a percentage is represented by the 100 stocks in the NDX >> To answer that we need to figure the total Market caps for both.... I agree the bio's are also in the Nasdaq but in the past the "BTK" has off-set the movements in the "SOX" and therefore I believe they have enhanced the move down. Let's not forget MSFT had a lot to do with that movement also. The COMPX is made up of about 4100 stocks, so even though it's not fair to say it's a 40 to 1 ratio to the NDX it has shown strength in the financial's and the health care sectors. EOM Shoreco PS I'm sure there are some long term buyers of MSFT around 50ish....
