Yes, small caps were hot, so they were safe for LTBH in the past year or two.

Sector selection is a key component of any LTBH strategy - and any LTBH strategy should be looked at quarterly if not more often.

If big caps start to show reliable earnings growth again and I can find similar values like the small caps I own now, I will happily add some. But look at WM as an example, a terrific value play going nowhere for months.
