Edmond, I should have said day to day management of the funds. Zweig still sets the strategic goals. There was a big article several years ago about how he had given up regular management of all the funds.

I guess my caveat is that you are unlikely to get 9%. The fund's premium is the highest I've ever seen it and it has not been earning 9% for a long time, on an NAV basis. So, you have to be betting that the premium will expand even more than its already high level.

The payout is not all profit. In normal times, the fund should decline by the amount of the payout, unless the premium is expanding.

I wish you luck. But if you haven't checked out the performance page on Morningstar, please do. I find the disconnect between market price and actual performance (NAV performance) to be worrisome.
