OT - Hey Taki, some great comments on the whole "eating program". I recently have acheived some significant milestones since Feb 1st. I have dropped from 230 to 210 on a 5'11" frame and I have lost 3-4 inches off my waist on a combination customized program for me. I beleive I have actually dropped a fair bit more fat as I suspect I have piled on 5-10 punds of muscle.

Over this 2-3 months period I have been lifting wieghts religiously 3 days a week with a 10-15 min treadmill cardio afterwards and a 20-30 minute cardio program on the off days from weights.When I started I couldnt even get my weight belt into the first notch. BUT THE MOST IMPORTANT NOTE IS THAT THIS IS A LIFESTYLE CHANGE AND NOT A DIET per se. THIS NEW ROUTINE AND EATING REGIME IS FOREVER.

I am in the best shape in about 12 years which is good as my old suits dont fit and they needed replacing anyway - I really need to drop another 10 pounds but am more concerned about just losing fat from abs, sides, BFA as I am blessed with the ole hockey player ass and thighs.

I certainly have reduced my fat intake but I also avoid certain breads and do make sure that I have enough carbs to support my weight lifting and running. I would not say that I am on a low-card high protien diet but a very balanced diet that avoids very High carbs and very high fats.
