Cynical. Very cynical. True, but cynical. :-) This is disturbing...I held back on the cynical stuff. I may have passed the point of no return. I was reading some of the earlier posts on the thread re: religion and having some flashbacks of the Cathedrals, etc. in England, Berlin, Praugue, Seville, and Barcelona. Magnificently built and laden with gold and silver. With a bit of study you can figure out that the silver in Seville was acquired by murder and the pillaging of South and Central America; the gold in Prague was taken from....etc. All to the glory of god. You pick up the current news and we've got Hindus killing Muslims; Muslims killing Hindus, Catholic killing Protestests, Christian or Muslims killing Jews; Jews killing Christian or Muslims...I must have missed someone ... If there is a god; he or she has to be pretty pissed off about now. jttmab
