The forecast below was made on April 27, 2002. As the result of an over-sold condition, a period of consolidation began on April 16th. That consolidation period has now ended. The stock market is now ready to resume its primary downtrend. A new plunge (probably to multi-year lows) is likely to last throughout the entire month of May.
