Man, the only time I looked at OEL, Louisiana state records showed that the operator of its properties, BPR Energy, had received multiple warnings for production audit discrepancies on those locations, I&E compliance violations, and injection and mining violations. That, in combination with the large amount of water produced and the fact that Louisiana is not exactly unexplored territory, made me think that it's not really worth the time. Then, when the "investment" newsletter was written by the same tout that was receiving a monthly stipend from OEL for "investor relations", it was pretty much a given that it wasn't worth the time or cash for that matter.

But ya know....whatever.
