Just came across a note (the origin I do not know) which states; "When the illusion of wealth distorts the meaning of value, gold rises even though experts contend that there is no reason for it to do so."

Tommaso,

Gold closed around $311 here on Friday and right now seems to be bouncing between $311 and $312. I wonder how the US$ is doing - looked at globex and foreign currencies listed there are doing well. Of course the index futures are positive. I do not know when they start trading on globex. Any way our Aussy$ is quoted up.
