The intended purpose is to secure liberty for the people, Rich. Not for the government. Liberty for the people. That will never be outdated, and the Second Amendment is the script that will keep it that way.

Nobody says you have to carry a gun, nor even to have one if you don't want. But I do insist on your RIGHT to have one. When you lose that right, we are all in big trouble. Sooner or later.
