Don, I'm beginning to like Bollinger's lists equitytrader.com

COHU is near the top there. AMAT looks awful because they haven't adjusted for the split.

Hi Don,

Semi's Book to Bill reinforces my belief that the technological upgrades in the front end of manufacturing - which not only drives yield efficiencies but they also promote larger production - (primarily 200mm vs300mm).

This equates into a larger need for teshandlers and testers.Additionally as the complexity of the chip increases so too does the test and time cycle. This cycle would normally get tweaked up but heat generation is a continuing concern. So maxed out test cycles require cooling and that forces somewhat of a tradeoff.

Semi backend BtoB was 1.41 vs 1.04 frontend(going off recall on these numbers)

This all adds up to Cohu being in a sweet spot.

There were few semi equip companies whose sales are off less than 28% (Y over Y) and have a forward vision of breakeven or better for the next quarter.
