Niceguy, Re: "INTC did, I believe, guide $6.4 billion to $7.0 billion...Didn't INTC post $6.8 billion in q1???"

Haven't you figured out by now that Intel guides conservatively? Last quarter was on the high end of guidance, and the quarter before that was several hundred million dollars above guidance. I presume they are guiding down because Q2 is usually a smaller revenue quarter when compared to Q1, but I am still not disregarding the chance of a positive upside later in the quarter. I have simply learned to follow history. Maybe you should learn to do the same.

Yes - and they guided for a profit, in either case.
Do you remember what a profit is? Or have you AMD investors forgotten the meaning of the term due to lack of use of the "profit word" in AMD's financial reportings?

Does that guidance add up to world class yields and a successful p4 to you Monica???

Yes it does.
When Jerry Sanders no longer calls the Pentium 4 a "dud", AMD investors should take note - the Pentium 4 is cleaning AMD's right-twice-a-day clock.
