First of all, the German Govt has been critical of Israel many many times in the past. True they have been very vocal with Sharon ,but it is not the first time. Second, while you are right that some tyrants can be elected initially, Hitler quickly consolidated power and either killed or imprisoned the competition. Funny I dont see that happening in Israel. And most importantly, you assume many terrible things that Sharon has done, yet the one that he is most criticsized for is unproven. As I said he won..prevailed, was the victor in a landmark libel suit against time Magazine. He won 2 of 3 counts including the one for defamation.dsm
