be on the lookout for a small headfake below 50 and a rally back to 52 or so

That is what I am watching for. If the market is still heading down near, just below 50 on a small headfake as you suggest, might trigger the turning point, given its relatively huge market cap on the Naz.
That level also takes us back to the September lows on that stock.
