How can a hundred persons ina small room talk to each other all at once. It is possible only if they whisper. If they shout, none can understand. This is exactly why CDMA works so well in dense population areas. Multiple cell sites whisper to terminals and thus don't interfere with each other. TDMA and GPRS shout and nearby cells clash.
