Dear Jerome: Besides WW's lawyers, the company (or whatever) that has $12 million to gain if the merger does not go through is probably on it's knees **begging** him to continue fighting.

It's easy to lend a sympathetic ear and push someone like WW onwards when the sympathetic ear's pocket is being filled like the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow.

Personally, I do not think WW should appeal should the judge rule in favor of HWP. From everything I have read and heard, the DE judge is a man of *THE* highest integrity and fairness, a credit to the U.S. judicial system. Whatever he decides, both sides should accept his verdit and move on--or give up.

Regards,

Lynn

Jerome,
If Walter loses, that was his last hooray. HP will appeal if the merger can't proceed. IMHO the chances of that happening are extremely slim.
