Amazing that you can call anyone not bullish a lemming while with each passing day another support level fails and we continue our downward march. I'm thinking you may be a little confused.

ron...guys who think like you are the "sucker" part of the "pierce and sucker" play.....

last week i called the " pierce and sucker" on the dow and nasdaq the day it happened.....

both times....a sucker rally came the next day....nasdaq to 1744....dow to 10100.......

look where they are today after those "sucker rally's"

anyway....SPX was the last pierce of a major support....

the door is now open to 1400.....the next rally will fail

you are a nice guy ron.....i hope you can see whats happening before its too late...

good luck to you...

Dear Ron:

Certainly you may call me "Augie" -- most do.

But, I'll have you know that I am no "lemming." I am a Bichon Frise, (BEE-shawn free-ZAY), a most noble and lovable breed of Canus Familiarus. bichon.org I, sir, am no RODENT!

Secondly, I consigned "Zack" to the ash-heap of SI, not for the content of his post, but for the YAHOO-esque manner in which he posted.

Thirdly, if and when the market heads in an upward direction for any reasonable length of time, that is, during the next few bear market rallies, I will most certainly not just be "selling all the way up to Naz 5K."

I will buy and sell all the way up to wherever the market feels like going. Along the way I will use tight stops, and take my profits at every opportunity.

I know where you're coming from Ron, because I used to live there. I was a regular, devoted, LTBH-loving, "Gorilla-Gaming," "Motley Fool" -- dissecting five or ten years worth of 10Ks for every stock I even thought about touching. And what did all that "due diligence" buy me? Six figures worth of heartache and sleepless nights!

NO THANKS!

Ron - You are developing a very bad habit.
Actually several of them

1) Stubborn beliefs
2) Refusal to see stocks charts all point down
3) Belief the bottom is in without a retest
4) Belief that long is the only way to make money
5) Failure to see or believe in the double dip recession that is coming

As for me I bought leap puts on FNM and HI and will add others.
Financial collapse is very likely withing a year IMHO
