re: Interesting to note, though, that R&D spending correlates better to stock market performance than just abourt anything else. The greater the percent of R&D (as a percent of revenues) the better the subsequent stock market performance.

I have heard that increases/decreases in R&D can be a leading indicator, but hadn't heard pure percentage. Interesting.
