What gets me is when I hear Intel throw out terms like "world class yields". That's arbitrary and something I would expect to hear from Jerry Sanders not Intel. You've got one company claiming "World Class Yields" and shipping nothing, while another company makes the same claim and is shipping millions. Who you gonna believe? EP

I can understand your point here... of course, I think when Intel is comparing yield between processes (or between wafer sizes), they use a mature process as a baseline. So by "world class" all Intel probably meant was the 0.13u process (on both wafer sizes) was near or at the defect density levels of their 0.18u process (which, if true, would be a major coup on 300mm!).
