Brooke, it appears we're getting another drop into the close. The SPX 1053 level is certainly within range. If memory serves, Dow 9800 was support, as was 9850 or so. I think there are too many people anticipating a bounce, so the indices need to be taken down to show them who's boss (the MM's). COMP 1619, or 1626-28 are what I'm looking at right now. We'll see. 1646-1650 are too obvious for support and don't work well with SPX 1053.
