To summarize the Marvin vs. Shell lawsuit...

WLS-AM radio host Jay Marvin goes on record with the Chicago Tribune -- a paper read by millions -- that he spent $10,500 to investigate Janice Shell (whom we later are told was tailed for "several months"). Janice and an on-line friend write to Marvin's boss -- in private -- that, considering Janice is a non-party to a libel lawsuit filed against Marvin's friend Gary Dobry, they object to such harassment. Marvin then sues Janice for invasion of *his* privacy. To quote Homer Simpson: Doh!
