Fin, thanks for the 300 mm "coup" info. AMD backer on the Motley Fool AMD thread made this statement today in a post about Thoroughbred, based on the article below, which is largely in Chinese. The article only shows benchmarks of 1700+ and 1800+ TBred QSpeeds, so I guess by definition they wouldn't be any faster than their Palomino counterparts. Just a shake your head kind of thing, I guess, like, why bother. OK, little lower Vcc, temp. Recommendations: 0 Thanks duttermohl, the benchmarks show no improvement in performance in die shrink TBred. the results are very close to AXP in same PR number. One of the remarks is: TBred improved from XP in core valtage(lower to 1.6v), lower power consumsion and the temperature of the CPU is also lower. oc.com.tw
