The $1.2bn is long term debt assumed by Moviles. All Q gets is a better class of debtor, not cash in the bank today except, of course, for whatever its share of the $85m might be.

Q had 2.7 billion in cash and equivalents as of 3/31. Add 1.2 to that and you get 3.9 billion.

The Qualcomm portion of the $1.2 billion is $650 million.

Should help jump start a few more CDMA projects -- line a couple of CDMA450 projects in Europe.

They wont get the cash right away...Telefonica is simply assuming the debt. It will be nice to see QSI's losses reduced. The big worry is now Vesper. Another $650 million is at risk there. Inquam isnt as bad as I thought....only about $200 million at risk (including unfunded comittments).
