The book, BTW, on Republican governors is that they get into office and let the lifetime criminals who run the state (public unions, especially teachers) con them into fighting for tax increases. They forget that the reason the public elected so many Republican governors is that they were tired of getting ripped off by public unions in cahoots with Democratic governors. A large portion of Republican governors didn't produce the one reform that was demanded over the last 15 years-so they will have electoral problems this year. Exceptions are NY and California, where the Republicans will face such weak opponents that they will walk in.

On the Congressional side, we have seen the Impeachment fix, abortive attempt to steal the 2000 election by Dems, and now outright treason in the war on Islam. Not to mention a crusade to raise taxes in the teeth of a recession. The people will fix the parts they forgot in 2000, and you will see Republican gains in both houses of Congress...
