NV i am conservative on shorts at these levels, your 1620 however looks doable, as COMPX is struggling at 1650(it should have been an explosive buy point---meaning? meaning the traders may be getting dipped out and margin pressure is on them).
So yes, take your short profits and then sit on your cash,imo.Max In terms of going long again two possible alternatives be ZEEV's trin/tick counts or Larry Dudashes trend signals.Max

Still can't believe how MSFT was pumped up to keep the Naz afloat....the plunge in it was inevitable.

NV - it seems you reading the market very very well lately.

That exactly what was going on

MSFT and CSCO strong all day
Toss in a couple other big names like SEBL
and it looks like only a small drop today when some stuff got crushed
