ICICI plans a foray in bullion market

ICICI (ICIC.BO, news) (NYSE:IC - news) has entered into agreement with leading global supplier of gold, to facilitate trading in bullion, which according to senior Vice president Narendra Gupta, will start`early next month`, reports The Financial Express.

He added that the bank will initially offer services from three branches in Mumbai, Ahemdabad and maybe Jaipur. The bullion banking will not be restricted to jewellry makers or exporters, it would also be extended to other retail customers.
