Actually, we don't have any problem at all.

But it would be an interesting legal case if Poet tried to charge me with stalking or harrassment.

For starters, can one stalk or harrass a screen name?

Then, Poet would have to step forward as a real person, so we would know who he or she (Poet presents herself as a woman, but we don't really know, do we, in fact?) really is. That could be quite interesting. Or would she try to set legal precedent herself by trying to appear throuigh her nom-de-SI alone, and claim that a mere screen name can stalk or harrass another mere screen name when there is no knowledge of the actual peson?

And, can somebody stalk you electronically on a board which gives you the benefit of an ignore feature so you never have to read anything the person writes to you unless you choose to?

It would be a very interesting set of legal precedents.

Another ancillary benefit would be that I would be able to demand discovery of all the PMs you and she exchanged on this issue -- I'm assuming that you would not voluntarily provide them to me, would you, as you voluntarily provided mine to Poet? And her PMs to E, jlallen, etc. Then we could see what she was actually saying behind the scenes.

That, too, would be interesting.
