Hydrogen fuel cells, as indicated from product announcements from auto manufacturers, are the next source of power for their vehicles

Next gen vehicles will probably be along the lines of the fuel-cell technology that Ford, Daimler, and Ballard Power Systems are working on. A very elegant technology.
