Hi Art, I remember reading somewhere that Oil/Gas use to move in tandem with GOLD/Silver, but not anymore or so the pundits espouse. Personally I think that Oil/Gas & GOLD & Silver are once again moving in tandem. The greatest leverage from what I have read in the past is with GOLD & to a somewhat lessor degree; Silver. BWDIK I guess we will all find out soon enough. BTW, telcos are dead & will continue to be dead until their chart draws a nice 'saucer' pattern. Check out the MONTHLY GOLD charts to determine in yur mind what a saucer type pattern is <ggg> edit: here is one on the TSEGPM bigcharts.marketwatch.com U could also read a 'Cup & handle' too FWIW Note that I'm completely disregarding various indicators.... Hi Art, re: O&G. I tend to agree LT but since I don't want to deal with the short term I'm adding to trust units (or similar vehicles) on dips. So far it's working out well. I tend to be hot and cold trading (ie. sometimes lucky and sometimes crappy :o) so this makes it easier for me until I think it's time to go full tilt into energy. I'm about 20% energy in various forms mostly NG weighted, some service (seismic) and some 'clean air' motivated. I'm about 60%+ gold and silver at the moment. regards Kastel
