Elmer,

RE:"I see no reason to get insulting. I'm just pointing out that you are once again caught in the breeze and this week's wind has you bashing AMD instead of Intel"

Hey, that's funny. I call you and AMD apologist and you get insulted.

I've been pretty hard on AMDs case for 8-10 months now.
Not a week. I said they will limp to hammer. Then what?

RE:"AMD is not as bad as you say, but then again Intel was never as bad as you said when the wind was blowing in the other direction. Give AMD credit for doing a damn good job with limited resources. They did better than IBM ever did"

Well, heck. Yes they aren't in as bad a shape as they were when the K6-2 ran out of gas with the CXT core debacle. They did a great job with the Athlon, had the bull by the horns but why in the world do they need to go through these down cycles vs Intel while waiting for their next chip? It's not like it hasn't happened in the past.

RE:"Give AMD credit for doing a damn good job with limited resources."

You know what they say, you're only as good as your last at bat. Right now they are heading for single digits. I will give Jerry credit for knowing when to dump stock last May...
