Sorry, but forced migration is the story of the of the 20th century (and probably every previous century as well). Its a pretty crummy world.


"Forced migration" implies being pushed from one place that was home to another that could be home. The three examples you cite are people pushed from a particular land in which they resided to another land that could be called their homeland. The Palestinians were forced or fled from what was their homeland and placed into refugee camps where they have remained because their homeland has been partitioned and portions given away to two other nations....Jordan and Israel. There is no other place that Palestinians can call home except the camps.

Frankly, I don't think it gets any crummier than that.

Yes, of course. There is nothing good about those expulsions and forced migrations but again, at least they had a "supposed country of origin".
