Value Positions, like TYC, require the discipline of allocation with price positions at 15% - 20% increments from the prior buy price.

Of course I am assuming that a value play is not of the nature of ENE, WCOM, etc. In other words, they must good to excellent fundamentals and realistic long term growth projections.

In my opinion, a value play usually takes 6 - 12 months for the street to properly price the stock in relationship to its "valuation" and projected growth.

The discipline of price position allocations on value stocks is the same discipline one needs for shorting stocks. It is tough to cut out the emotions.

If TYC goes below 16.50 today, then it is heading toward the 14 - 15 range.
