I don't know. That's what many others are investing in, and I've never understood it very well. In fact, I don't understand why Warren Buffett thinks Coke is so great.

But if you're looking for value, which can be defined not only by price-earnings in relation to earnings growth but by market price in relation to book value, take a look at some REALLY depressed stocks like TAA, whose market price is around $3.20 but whose book value is over $10.00. Compare it with Q or WCOM, both of which have similar businesses but huge debt, whereas TAA is debt free. Same with QCOM in regard to debt.

Like I say, I dunno what's going on with investors who purportedly look for value in staid old stocks like PG and KO. Doesn't make any sense to me, in view of what else is available. Maybe the answer is simply that there are a lot of lemmings out there.
