Someone creates a viable alternative to gasoline, they own the world. That would seem incentive enough without government welfare and bogus tax schemes.

To hobble or even kill the gasoline economy before there is an economic alternative is insane.

Del one of the most silly aspects of this thread is how the bushies like fearless leader use bad science to rationalize biases.

Hey let's get specific what "bad" science are refering to. More generalizing handwaving crap by your kind.

BTW what was Clinton's energy policy? Yea, I thought so...

It doesn't matter much what the Bushies think about energy in the long run. Hydrogen is going to be the fuel of the future whether they like it or not. The only thing that they will do is slow down progress, which is what they are doing now. Eventually they will have to eat crow and admit that Gore, John Kerry and other progressive thinkers are 100% right about our energy future.

The Bush "energy plan" is nothing more that a name that they slapped on a policy of protecting the status quo of those who funded their campaign, and finding them more drilling and mining prospects with fewer clean air regulations. It's all about payback time for the ones who brung 'em to the dance. They know it, we know it, and now they know we know it.

BTW, now would be a good time to boycott Exxon because they spearheaded the successful drive to remove the head of the International Panel on Climate Change. He represented the vast majority of scientists who say that global warming is a problem, and that CO2 levels are at new millennium highs, and that humans are largely responsible. Exxon and Bush don't want to hear that, so they got rid of the messenger.

The "Esso" boycott in Europe is very successful, but most Americans are not aware of the dirty pool by Exxon. It seems that the "liberal" media missed properly informing the public about another important story.
