Where do you draw the line between conservative and libertarian?

Its not always a matter of drawing a line. A lot of my ideas I see as being both.

I guess support for a strong defense is not libertarian but its not anti-libertarian in my opinion. (Defense is a legitimate function of government even for libertarians) The same would go for my pro-life views (if you accept the basic pro-life premise that a fetus is a human life then it isn't anti-libertarian to be prolife. If you don't believe that the fetus is a human life then you are probably pro-choice, and if your not the only reasons left to be pro-life would be anti-libertarian ones).

I don't think it matters much, as long as common ground can be found to resist the expansion of government into private affairs, and especially to resist the tragedy of the commons that results when private property is made common property.

Yes there is a lot of common ground.
