Actually. Yes and no. The yes part, you could have a machine stand on only 2 wheels but it would have to be perfectly balanced. Try getting your bike to stand without the kickstand. The no part is this. While you could get it to stand by itself as soon as you added a foreign object to it that shifts weight it would fall. That is the beauty of "Gyro Propulsion". The sensors continually counter balance the applied weight.
