I'd never assume that, given a certain mode of dress (or the lack of it), someone necessarily had some field or degree of expertise. Also, if these hypothetical people were entering the marketplace, they should have thought of at least one reason why someone might lie to them, LOL.

$3000 suits

That's got to be one hell of a suit. The wearer must (and it stands to reason) also have access to a chauffered car, because there's no way I'd get on the subway or into a cab every morning wearing something like that.
