c2, finally a question we can all approach with neutrality :)
my streaming feed shows QCOM up 4.11% at 30.42. so i think there's probably just some glitch in SI's quote feed today.
BTW, i will mention that the last time i made a play on QCOM was around July 7, 2000. i sold puts the Jan 2001 50-strike puts at basically the low print of the day (around 51), and QCOM managed to more than double off that low to 110 in December 2000 before breaking down in Feb 2001.
so i consider my making any play to be rather bullish (although my plays are rather small and lack significant upside). that was a hilarious day, as i was the "prodigal son" come home on this thread :).
