On a more realistic note, Al Quaeda is an off shoot of the Islamic terrorist network created by the CIA in Afghanistan beginning in 1979. If we had not created this beast, the WTC would never have been attacked. 1) AQ is an offshoot of the Islamic Brotherhood founded in Egypt. The Brotherhood is the granddaddy of all the IslamoFacist groups today. 2) The CIA created an ad hoc army to fight another army, not a terrorist group to attack civilians with the purpose of instilling terror in the population.
