It all depends on your time frame, of course. I'm looking at a fancy new custom indicator in eSignal, the center of gravity indicator from May's TASC, and it's just starting to cross the signal line in the daily Naz chart for a buy signal. But in the 60-min. chart, it's just starting to cross down for a sell signal. S'all relative. A good indicator, btw. Crossovers just starting for SPX and Dow, too (buy signals in daily).

Some intriguing custom indicators for eSignal are being posted on the esignal@yahoogroups.com list -- the accumulation swing index and chaikin oscillator, for example. The new eSignal is the most flexible real-time charting program I've seen. They plan to offer AdvancedGet indicators soon, for an additional fee, I think. Gann & Elliott stuff.

The center of gravity indicator gave a sell signal in the 30-minute chart for QQQ at about 12:30. The buy signal was yesterday at 3:30 (30-min. chart). Now it's nearly crossing again, and preparing for what may be another buy signal.

I mention this because your sale occurred right about the time the cog indicator gave a sell signal.

In the daily chart, it's on the verge of a crossover -- just touching the signal line.
