Agreed 100%.

I read something recently, wherein they predicted a philosophical change, from "CPU-centric", to "Storage-centric". Specifically, the article was discussing hooking up those MP3 players, but it acknowledged that data is data, and it's a small leap from MP3 files to anything else.

I agree with that line of thinking - after all, it's the DATA that has value to us; the CPU is just the tool for accessing/processing it.

Now that the CDN-ITM sector is a complete wash-out, do you feel that any of these companies will be targets for the big boys in the storage sector? Particularly the 300mil market cap issues like INKT, AKAM, FFIV, or to a lesser extent, RDWR, NTCT, and CFLO? Do these companies get bought or just fall by the wayside? Many have longstanding relationships with the technology leaders. Any opinions are welcomed.
