What the heck is that supposed to mean? Do U.S.
banks take goodwill and intangible assets as payment?

What's the use of carrying billions of FLUFF on the books?

Andy, you have made a good point that shouldn't fall through the cracks....it makes the CSCO acquisitions an interesting comparison to those of TYC.
