Maybe it is as simple as this. If your country favors Israel in its views it will suffer riots and insurrection sponsored by Terror Inc. If it favors the terrorists who are speaking for (but probably do not represent) the average Palestinian it will not. Maybe Jews will demonstrate, but they will not light off you local business district or foreign embassy.

The names of those committees are impressive, but all have a long history of anti-semitism.

Ultimately winners are winners, and losers are losers. Does anyone remember that the US dropped napalm on 300,000 civilians in their homes in Tokyo in 1945? What is remembered is that US ended hundreds of years of Japanese terror against their neighbors, and freed the Japanese from an insane repressive culture. War is not pretty, and can not be judged by lawyers ex-post-facto.
