Prior to the 2000 election I was very concerned about how overheated the market had become in the late 90s. I have been impressed with the economy's resiliency.

Clinto warned for years that terror was the future threat while bush campaigned for boosting more a more traditional military buildup. If the right that controlled congress while he was in office didn't agree with his assessment don't blame Clinton for the results.
