They also chase folks for not stopping on a dark street (i.e. immediately when all the 'fugitive' wanted to do was go to a slightly brigher spot WHILE DRIVING BELOW THE SPEED LIMIT (talk about 'running away from the scene')) and bring out the entire posse (5 CARS !) and write up a huge report while jailing the poor female.

Happened to someone I know.

Then they call for donations to their idiotic association.
